In fact, that is what made Cindy successful today is because she kept on pushing and made the impossible into the possible. It started with one customer who believed in her and then two and then three. The first few years of Saveway Supplies were in the middle of the great recession when most thought it was the worst time to start a new company. Especially as a single mom of two young ladies. But, If you know Cindy, you know she would not quit until she found success. She is not only passionate about a twist tie but also the agricultural industry. When she was selling baler twine, she didn’t even know what hay was! Believe it or not, she was the first Asian woman in the agricultural industry selling supplies to farmers! Imagine this 5 ft. tall Asian woman, driving her Toyota Camry, in a fancy furry jacket and asking you to buy baler twine and or twist ties for cilantro… Since then, she has learned to get an American pick-up truck and wear wringers jeans with boots. But hey, what a story! Here we are 15 years later and Saveway Supplies is a bustling company with 12 employees. Of course, going from a working out of your garage to a 23,000 sq foot warehouse today did not come easy, but it sure has been worth it.

She is still passionate about twist ties and that will never change. Her core values and beliefs are what makes her different than others. If you know her, you know her. This is what she wants to tell our customers:

I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to live in the United States and became a US citizen at the age of 20. As an immigrant, came to America at 10 years old, didn’t speak the language and learned how to “Make It” in my own way. Self-education was important to me. I believe if you are willing to work hard then your dreams will come true. I was not afraid to work hard. I was grateful for every single tough challenge my clients gave me then and I was able to deliver them. I am grateful for all the support and customers who have believed in me.
